Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies and Local Storage?

Cookies and browser local storage are small data stores placed on your device when you visit our website or use the Live Gym Scorer application. They allow the platform to remember your active session, keep judges authenticated, cache scoring data during offline scoring, and remember your privacy choices.

2. Strictly Necessary Cookies and Storage

These items are essential for the operation of Live Gym Scorer. Without them, secure authentication, scoring synchronisation, and session validation cannot function. They cannot be switched off in our systems:

• Session Authentication Tokens: Secure HTTP tokens verifying your club administrator or scoring operator session.
• Judge Device PIN & Apparatus Context: Stored locally to allow apparatus judge tablets to maintain their active panel assignment even across temporary Wi-Fi drops.
• Scoring Drafts: Browser storage may retain scoring drafts and application preferences. It does not guarantee automatic offline score submission.
• Cookie Consent Preference: Remembers your consent choice so you are not prompted repeatedly.

3. Analytics Cookies (Optional)

With your consent, we use privacy-conscious analytics tools (such as Google Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled) to understand how visitors interact with our public website and marketing pages. We use this aggregated information to improve documentation, navigation, and user experience.

Analytics cookies are disabled by default until you click "Accept All" on our cookie banner. If you choose "Essential Only", no analytics cookies are written to your device.

4. No Advertising or Third-Party Tracking Cookies

We do not use advertising tracking networks, behavioural remarketing cookies, or cross-site profiling trackers. We never sell or broker user data to third-party ad platforms.

5. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences

You can change your consent preferences at any time by clearing your browser cache or updating your browser settings to reject cookies. For assistance, contact privacy@livegymscorer.co.uk.
