Live Gym Scorer runs entirely in standard web browsers. Clubs supply their own devices, connectivity, and power. Here is everything you need for event day.
Control Desk Laptop
- Recommended Hardware Any modern Mac, Windows, Chromebook, or Linux laptop
- Supported Browsers Chrome 115+, Safari 16+, Edge 115+, or Firefox 115+
- Key Responsibilities CSV roster imports, schedule rotations, judge PIN pairing, and PDF medal awards export
Judge Tablets / Phones
- Device Options iPads, Android tablets, iPhones, Android smartphones (7"+ tablet recommended)
- No App Download Judges open Safari or Chrome, enter a 6-digit PIN, and start scoring
- Power & Setup Recommend full charge + table stand / portable charger pack per judging panel
Arena TV & Connectivity
- Venue Scoreboards Hall TVs or projectors connected via HDMI cable or Chromecast
- Internet / Wi-Fi Stable Wi-Fi or 4G/5G mobile hotspot (~1 Mbps minimum bandwidth)
- Connection Recovery Internet required for cloud saving; reconnect and confirm submitted scores
Competition-Day Readiness Checklist
Step-by-step checklist to ensure a seamless competition from morning setup to awards.
1. One Week Before the Competition
- ✓ Import gymnast roster CSV and verify age categories and bib numbers
- ✓ Configure rounds, sessions, apparatus panels, and tie-break rules
- ✓ Run a 5-minute test competition with your judges to familiarise them with the touch keypad
2. Morning Setup (1 Hour Before)
- ✓ Connect control laptop to venue power and test Wi-Fi connection
- ✓ Generate 6-digit judge PINs and pair tablets at each apparatus judging desk
- ✓ Open Arena Display URL on the main hall screen / projector via HDMI
